Membership Benefits

Members of the Collaborative Action for Childcare will:

 

  1. Have opportunities to support and work alongside governments to develop and achieve their objectives.
  2. Be able to connect with colleagues within an active and diverse network of childcare professionals in learning and networking spaces.
  3. Have the opportunity to be part of various engagements with a variety of stakeholders and lobby for a favorable childcare environment in the region.
  4. Have access to various childcare learning and sharing forums nationally and internationally, while providing expert knowledge and practical experiences of childcare.
  5. Enjoy the freedom to use the Collaborative Action for Childcare logo in any of their publications and or meetings.
  6. Enjoy subsidized rates in any conference, workshop, training or event organized by Uthabiti Africa and potentially any member of the Collaborative as may be agreed from time to time.
  7. Be able to jointly fundraise for and implement activities related to childcare at county, national, regional and global level.
  8. Be a member of the technical working groups and have an opportunity to (co-) host CAC events.

Membership Categories

Membership of the Collaborative will consist of Government departments, agencies, and line ministries, UN Agencies, INGOs, Development partners, Corporates, local organizations including CSOs, NGOs, FBOs, Research Institutions, academia, small local entities, startups including microenterprises and individuals. Members will be required to meet their own costs of attending meetings and contributing to the work of the Collaborative.

Membership Fees

To join the Collaborative, they will be required to pay an annual membership subscription fee guided by the figure below. This fee will enable the running of Collaborative interventions while ensuring all members access the benefits of collaboration.
